Olga Larina

Olga's work is pure, pulsating emotion transferred to paper. While classic still life is often associated with static and calm, in Olga's works, objects seem to dance. Her art is built on the incredible energy of color and bold, free brushstrokes that turn everyday scenes into a bright celebration. Olga is a true virtuoso of water-based techniques. In her watercolors, the paint flows lightly and transparently, allowing the paper to glow from within. But when the subject demands greater expression, as in her musical still lifes, she uses dense, opaque paints, sculpting the form with bold, choppy brush movements. In these works, one can feel the influence of Fauvism — a love for open, joyous color and decorativeness. As the artist herself says: “I am inspired not only by large and obvious things, but above all, by the subtle, almost imperceptible details around us. It can be the play of light on a wall, a reflection in a puddle, or a chance combination of colors. I often notice the mood of the moment: the silence of the morning, the tension before the rain, the soft warmth of evening light. Sometimes the object itself is less important than how it resonates in space and what atmosphere it creates. I want to convey not just an image, but a state!” Olga's paintings are a pure source of inner light and energy. This is art with its own very warm and confident voice. It doesn't just attract the eye; it sets its own creative rhythm, filling the space with air and making time flow a little slower.
